Message summary

In this message, Pastor Dexter Sherrell explores the Holy Spirit’s work in Christian life and ministry. Beginning with Pentecost in Acts 2, he emphasizes unity among believers and the Spirit’s empowering presence. He distinguishes the Spirit’s indwelling work in a believer’s life from empowerment for ministry, and connects spiritual growth with the fruit of the Spirit. Turning to Romans 8 and Jude, he encourages believers to depend on the Spirit in weakness, build themselves up in faith, and pray earnestly for others. The message closes with a call to intercessory prayer.
