In every generation, G-d reveals His faithfulness through both Israel and the Church.
This reflection grew from conversations with believers who question Israel’s place in modern theology.
I wrote it as a reminder that G-d’s covenant is not replaced or revoked—it’s fulfilled and expanded through the Messiah, Yeshua.
There is a thread of covenant that runs through all of Scripture—one that began with Abraham and continues through every generation.
“I will establish My covenant between Me and you and your descendants after you… for an everlasting covenant.”
(Genesis 17:7)
In the book of Ruth, a Gentile woman clings to her Jewish mother-in-law and says,
“Your people shall be my people, and your G-d my G-d.”
(Ruth 1:16)
That simple act of faith became a prophetic shadow of the Church—a Gentile bride joined to the Jewish Redeemer, Yeshua HaMashiach.
The Church has her portion, and Israel has hers.
At times their callings intersect, yet neither loses the heritage G-d has assigned.
“For the gifts and the calling of G-d are irrevocable.”
(Romans 11:29)
My heart grieves when I see teachings that erase Israel from the story of redemption.
To deny her place is to misunderstand the faithfulness of G-d, who declared:
“If this fixed order departs from before Me… then shall the offspring of Israel cease from being a nation before Me forever.”
(Jeremiah 31:35-36)
The Church was grafted in by mercy, not replacement.
“Do not boast against the branches… it is not you who support the root, but the root supports you.”
(Romans 11:18)
We must not become theologians of argument but disciples of intimacy—learning at the feet of Yeshua, whose eyes are “like a flame of fire” (Revelation 1:14) and whose heart burns for both Jew and Gentile.
I stand with Israel, not out of politics but out of promise.
She is the living testimony that Adonai keeps His word to a thousand generations.
“Know therefore that the Lord your G-d is G-d, the faithful G-d who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love Him and keep His commandments to a thousand generations.”
(Deuteronomy 7:9)
And as Yeshua said:
“When you see the fig tree put forth its leaves, you know that summer is near… so also, when you see these things, know that He is near, even at the doors.”
(Matthew 24:32-33)
Closing Prayer
Father, open our eyes to behold Your faithfulness.
Teach us to honor Your covenant with Israel and to rejoice in the mercy that grafted us in.
May our hearts burn with the same love that burns in Yours—for every nation, tribe, and tongue, and for the people You first called Your own.
Keep us humble, watchful, and faithful until the day we see the fig tree bloom and the fullness of Your promises revealed.
In Yeshua’s holy name, amen.
